【内容摘要】

This study investigates the impact of patent market reform on cross-regional innovation collaboration. Using a unique comprehensive dataset, we show that the reform expands patent transactions and strengthens collaborative innovation across regions. Mechanism analyses identify three channels: deepened market specialization, improved partner matching efficiency, and governmental learning that shifts local governments from competition to cooperation, encourages state-owned enterprises, and supports joint patent standard-setting. The findings provide novel evidence on how institutional reform shapes cross-regional innovation networks and offer insights for innovation governance and policy design.

王浩，广东国际战略研究院研究员、广东外语外贸大学副教授、西班牙中国研究中心研究员。分别于华南理工大学，波士顿大学，伦敦布鲁内尔大学和伦敦大学学院斯拉夫东欧研究院获得工学学士，经济学硕士，经济学博士学位以及博士后经历。以第一作者身份在Journal of International Financial Markets,  Institutions and Money以及统计研究等国内外期刊发表论文，工作论文作论文收录转载于德国慕尼黑大学经济研究中心、世界劳工组织、芬兰中央银行与西班牙中国研究中心等国际学术机构。
